Dr Cynthia Whitaker - with Saiyyidah
Dr. Whitaker is dual- licensed as both a Psychologist and a Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Dr. Whitaker has worked for Greater Nashua Mental Health since 2006 where she is currently the President & CEO.
Dr. Whitaker began her career at GNMH as the Coordinator of Deaf Services for the State of New Hampshire, a program that is dedicated to improving the access and quality of mental health services for people who are deaf in New Hampshire.
In addition to her work at GNMH, Cynthia has also served as an adjunct faculty member at both Antioch University and Rivier University where she taught doctoral level courses in Community Psychology, Developmental Psychology, a Professional Seminar, and an Advanced Seminar on Mindfulness.
Cynthia is fluent in American Sign Language and continues to be involved in advocating for and providing training about mental health services for individuals who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing.
